We host tastings prior to bookings all the time. Tastings take place in Plum’s beautiful garage kitchen, originally a coach house, now a fully professional commercial kitchen with dining in an industrial setting rather than a restaurant. Enjoy a variety of exceptional wine choices and offers introduced by our in house sommelier. Taste with us and find the perfect pairing for your celebrations menu.
Locally sourced meat from our butchers in Kemptown, fruit and vegetables grown in season, fresh fish from our own Brighton coast and all handpicked by me. All ingredients have their seasonality, shell fish when there’s an ‘r’ in the month, game from the Glorious 12th (August), lamb in Spring and so on. You get the picture and we follow the seasons with our constantly changing menus.
Since 2006, Plum’s mission has been to create simple, seasonal, beautiful + approachable food. We set up our catering business from home and began growing a reputation for delicious home cooked, locally sourced food. We love Sussex growers, farmers and producers and we’re proud to use their products in our menus. The business has flourished and grown since the early days into a luxury boutique caterer.

Plum offers a seasonal dinner menu in all forms- buffet, family- style, plated + small plates. We love creating additional custom stations – farmstand table including our classic cheese, charcuterie + seasonal vegetable platter + raw or vegan bars. Let us know what you are dreaming of!
Wedding package – £50 includes a-la-carte 4 course meal + half bottle of wine pp along with basic service wares.
Planning a wedding can be overwhelming but we oversee all aspects of the wedding day, from the first meeting when we discuss food to the last meeting when all the details of the day are finally in place. So changing your mind is never a problem and we believe that whatever your budget we can produce exquisite food with exceptional service.

We have helped a number of companies with launches, staff parties, exhibitions, promotions and marketing events, providing food that fits properly with the type and scale of event. Good service and good food leaves our clients free to get on with their main agenda.

Saturday 5th Feb, 4pm- 8pm
Join the Plum team for a relaxed evening learning the delights of pasta making. From Pasta making 101 to impressive show stoppers, our experienced chef George Ryan will guide you through process step by step. On arrival, you will be greeted with a complimentary welcome drink and nibbles. Further drinks are available throughout the class.
Saturday 19th Feb, 4pm- 8pm
A special evening to learn the art of pasta making! On arrival, you will be greeted with a glass of prosecco and welcome canapés. This workshop will introduce professional techniques to make impressive pasta dishes from scratch, followed by a sit down meal of your own creations, washed down with a complimentary glass of wine or two chosen by Quaff.

All classes are delivered in our beautiful Mews Kitchen, where we create all of our delicious menus for weddings and events locally. Our commercial kitchen is based in a lovely cobbled mews just off third avenue, a truly stunning setting for a class and heated with a roaring wood-burner to keep us all warm. We are lucky enough to be surrounded by local venders who supply fresh ingredients for all our classes including Bramptons Butchers, Fish Galore, The Cheese Man and Quaff Wine Merchant. The Garage Kitchen Supper Club
This is a one-of-a-kind culinary experience and a chance to visit us in our beautiful new garage kitchen in one of Hove’s beautiful mews’. Originally a coach house, now a fully professional commercial kitchen with dining in an industrial setting rather than a restaurant.
If you crave an amazing meal and an exciting dining experience this is for you! Our food is always about using the best ingredients as they become available season by season, even if that means ignoring the latest food trend. Our menus change monthly and we look for inspiration wherever we go, sometimes using classic recipes, sometimes inventing a new dish when we’ve been inspired by another chef. We want our guests to leave feeling they’ve had a really tasty dinner and one they won’t forget.

All the team at Plum have contributed their skills and services every year to raise money for a very important cause. Plan International have highlighted the problems facing women and young girls all around the world and this is what they say:
‘Millions of girls around the world are being discriminated against because of their gender. Girls are robbed of their childhoods, denied their most fundamental human rights and prevented from fulfilling their potential’.
If you believe in every girl’s right to live safe from violence, go to school and learn without fear, marry who she wants, when she wants then support our fundraising event for Plan International ‘Because I’m a Girl’.
Twice a year we hold a charity dinner event at the Garage, we donate the food and service and you pay for an evening of delicious food and good company. Leave us your details and we will let you know the upcoming dates for fundraiser dinners.

Plum can put the finishing touches to your weekend by bringing a dinner party to your door. We know exactly what you want, a delicious and intimate dinner to share with your friends, discreet service and then we clear it all away leaving you free to slip off into beautiful Brighton for a fun evening.
